It was with a great deal of pleasure that Kate Hudson, star of Netflix’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, shared her thoughts about nepotism in Hollywood.

As part of the magazine’s recent article that sparked the discussion about nepotism in Hollywood, the actress appeared in the Netflix’s Glass Onion cast.

According to an interview published on Saturday by The Independent, Glass Onion star Nick Frost discussed Hollywood nepotism while promoting the Knives Out sequel, directed by Rian Johnson.

When it comes to the nepotism issue, the 43-year-old actress expressed that “I’m not really bothered by it.”

Taking a look at my children, it is apparent that we are a storytelling family,” she added. It is definitely something that ingrained in our DNA. Whatever people call it, it is not going to change. It doesn’t matter what people call it, because it won’t change.”

Among the performers highlighted in the New York Magazine’s recent edition of nepo babies, Hudson is an actress and the daughter of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell (actors themselves who both come from performer parents).

Several of her siblings work in the industry, including Wyatt Russell and Oliver Hudson, as well as a number of her cousins. In addition to mentioning that nepotism not strictly confined to Hollywood, the Glass Onion star also mentioned that she has witnessed nepotism in other industries as well, where it has predominated for a longer period of time.

As far as I am concerned, there are other industries where similar practices are more prevalent than in technology. Is modeling an option for you? Her words echoed in her mind. “I see it in the world of business a lot more often than I see it in the Hollywood world. It has happened to me occasionally that I have been in meetings where I have been wondering, who is this two-year-old? In other words, this person doesn’t know anything about anything! ”

Her emphasis was that she doesn’t really care about the history of someone’s relationship to the entertainment industry as much as she cares about whether they are hardworking and provide quality information.

“I could not care less where you are from or how you are connected to the business, as long as you work hard and succeed.” Her response was simple: “I care only that you work hard and succeed.”
