As the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Edward has appointed Royal Patron for Reading Rep Theater.
As Reading Rep announced on Twitter, HRH Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex, is its Royal Patron.
“I am eager to support this theater’s efforts in the local community and to reinforce its inspiring work.”
A full-time member of the Firm since 2002, Prince Edward previously worked in theater and television production.

As patron of Reading Rep Theater, a major cultural center in Berkshire, the Earl of Wessex became one of the area’s most influential figures.
“Reading Rep is becoming an essential part of Reading’s arts scene for three really good reasons,” said the late Queen’s youngest son.
A thirteenth in line for the British throne, Edward, the youngest of the siblings of King Charles III, is the youngest member of the royal family.
