As a result of the assassination of senior anchorperson Arshad Sharif in Kenya, Prime Minister’s Focal Person for Digital Media Ahmed Jawad resigned.

He resigned just as the PTI began its march towards the federal capital, demanding early elections amid raging legal battles with the ruling elite.

As part of his request, Jawad urged the Prime Minister to announce elections by the end of Augustnother truth and commissions are being formed”.

In response to his conscience, Jawad quit politics “before Sharif’s burial shroud starts getting dirty.”

He also told PM Shehbaz Sharif that as a good man, he should spare his afterlife by not participating in the murder cover-up.

 It will be your duty as a ruler to answer for your deeds on the day of judgment.

As part of his letter, Jawad encouraged PM Shehbaz to announce elections as soon as possible.

“I joined PML-N when it was a ‘tanga party’ (novice) and left it when it became the ruling party today,” Jawad wrote on Twitter.

In the same tweet, Jawad emphasized the importance of introducing new principles to politics.

Announcement of retirement from politics

His retirement from politics has also  announced as part of the announcement.

Throughout his speech, Jawad urged the nation to stand by the truth and to differentiate between lies and truth. It is a time when young people are urge to follow their conscience and listen to it.”

As outlined by the former aide, “neither the US, China, the IMF, the Army, nor your (PM’s) 24/7 dedication to the country can save the country.”

It was Jawad’s request to PM Shahbaz that a fresh election, in place of the previous one, be announce as soon as possible.

As a result of our independence seventy-five years after its inception, we remain slaves. Slaves are not respected. Worshiping rising suns is pointless since all will soon set.”

It was his belief that the death of Arshad Sharif would serve as a ‘last reminder’ for the country.

Ahmed Jawad, who has  expelled from PTI, has appointed as the PM’s digital media and technology focal point.
