ISLAMABAD: The PTI under Imran Khan has escalated its criticism of the military establishment, which might result in some odd circumstances.
Following Senator Azam Swati’s incarceration and claims of torture, Imran Khan and a handful of his leaders tweeted on Thursday in support of him, but they also made it plain that they did not believe the charges. that they agreed with the hazardous statements made by the PTI member of the Upper House against the Army Chief and others.
Since the present administration is what they regard as “corrupt,” the PTI has openly singled out not only the Army Chief but also four to five other establishment figures (without naming them).
In response to a news story regarding PM Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz’s acquittal in a money laundering case by a court, Swati made extremely careless and disrespectful claims against the Army Chief and some other members of the establishment in his tweets on Wednesday.It was made quite apparent that the PTI’s aim in the establishment is actually five or six people, not just one or two.
Imported government in establishment
In the past, PTI officials would criticize the highest military leadership without naming anybody and by using phrases like “neutrals” and “handlers.” But Swati said in a tweet that the “Overlords of the “imported government” in establishments 5 to 6 are accusing people without evidence and threatening to “come right to Gate-4” of the military HQ in Rawalpindi if given permission by Imran Khan.
He taken away that evening after the FIA filed a case. Swati said that the agents had stripped him of his clothing and treated him badly when he appeared in court on Thursday for a physical remand.
Several PTI officials and others have denounced the senator’s detention and the alleged abuse meted out to him.Due to the sensitive nature of the case, it is unacceptable to repeat what Swati stated because the PTI did not withdraw it.
On Thursday night, Imran Khan made a statement on Swati’s case on Twitter, making it quite clear that he has taken his fight against the establishment into a situation where the stakes are extremely high and the outcome is uncertain.
Imprisonment torture
Imran Khan said, “Azam Swati’s imprisonment torture over a tweet on NRO 2 is just another despicable crime in our history.
“Can someone be intimidate and hurt to get them to respect them?
The Holy Quran states that only Allah has the authority to bestow honor or humiliation. He bases this decision on our behaviour.
Those who let the greatest crooks to not only get away with stealing billions from the nation but also to reclaim power are destined for shame.
To find out if the PTI leadership was responsible for and approved of Swati’s comments, The News contacted three PTI leaders: Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry, and Dr. Shireen Mazari.
