Outside the Pakistan High Commission in London, workers of PTI protests voiced their opposition to the “minus-one formula,” a reference to Imran Khan’s belief that efforts made to disqualify him from elections.
Imran Khan addressed a large protest in Gujranwala, at which he called for another round of agitation if the neutrals did not take steps to hold early elections.
PTI members including recently elected office bearers were also in London for the demonstration. These included Waqas Sagar and Nabeel Qureshi – PTI UK; Taqweem Ahsan, Aurangzeb Khan, and Imran Khalil-PTI UK; Rana Hamid Afzal-PTI (UK); Nasreen Memon of PTI Women.
The demonstration featured speeches by Sahibzada Jahangir, Farzana Mukhtar, Maheen Faisal Shahid Destageer, and Amir Khan. Adnan Shareef was the society’s membership coordinator at the time of the rally.
As speakers pointed out, they gathered to express their support for Khan. As any disqualification or knockout of the PTI chief would undermine Pakistan’s democratic process.

Their slogans were “minus-one formula Na Manzoor” and they carried placards and banners showing their support for their leader.
Waqas Sagar said Khan has always respected Pakistan’s judicial system.
Moreover, He has worked all his life to safeguard the rule of law. In his work, he has fought for judicial independence. He cannot possibly disregard the judiciary,” Sagar said.
Pakistanis rejected an alleged American conspiracy to remove PTI chairman Imran Khan from power and stood by him, President Naveed Qureshi said. “Some elements were planning a malicious plot against Mr. Khan but such plans will fail,” he added.
In 1947, Pakistan was liberated, but it never experienced real freedom. Khan was now running the “Haqeezi Azadi” movement with the support of the entire nation.

The international community will send a very bad message by our protest. The process of voting should be the only means by which Imran Khan can be eliminated,” he said.
In addition, A free and fair election is the only way out of Pakistan’s worst crisis, of which Farzana Mukhtar is the proponent.
According to Maheen Faisal, Pakistan will only accept Imran Khan as its leader.
PTI workers will never allow such a nefarious plan to succeed, she said, as evidence of Imran Khan’s hard work.
