In a Pre-World Cup T20 warmup match in Brisbane, England won convincingly thanks to Harry Brook and Sam Curran.

Pakistan scored 160 runs at the loss of eight wickets. With Shan Masood scoring 39 runs to lead the scoring with a total of 160. In addition to pacer Mohammad Wasim scoring 26 runs, Iftikhar Ahmed contributed 22 runs and Haider Ali contributed 18.

Pre-World Cup T20

There was a delay in the match due to the rain, which forced the match to be reduced to 19 overs.

Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam have both rested, while Shadab Khan has temporarily taken over.

Second over of  Pre-world cup

Pacer Naseem Shah made an early inroad by dismissing opener Phil Salt in the second over to help the team reach 49-1 in five overs.

Fast bowler Wasim dismissed Stokes, while skipper Shadab dismissed Alex Hales. Livingstone, Brook, and Curran scored quickfire innings that helped England win by 26 runs.

The next warm-up match for Pakistan is schedule for Wednesday against Afghanistan.

The T20 World Cup opens on October 23 when Pakistan and India meet in Melbourne – a day after Australia versus New Zealand begins their title defense in Sydney.
