It has come to our attention that a (Frontier Corps) FC trooper has  killed and another two have sustained injuries during a cross-border attack launched from Afghanistan against the Khaman district in Balochistan.

In an exclusive interview with the Levies officials, their alleged Afghan security officials opened fire on those FC personnel positioned on the Pakistani side of Bab-e-Dosti near Chaman as they deployed on the Pakistani side of Bab-e-Dosti. A FC member  killed by a bullet during the exchange of fire between the security authorities of the two countries. Two trooper additional FC members sustained bullet wounds as a result of the exchange of fire.

Immediately after the incident occurred, the Pakistani authorities contacted the Afghan government in order to request a ceasefire in the area. It is also report that Bab-e-Dosti has  close for any kind of trade or pedestrian movement since a few weeks ago.

During a flag meeting between officials of the two countries, Pakistani authorities clarify that as long as the attackers cannot be hand over to their country, the friendship gate will remain close until the attackers are hand over to their nation.

According to Afghan officials, however, the unidentified terrorists who masqueraded as Taliban did attack Pakistani security personnel on March 12, and  not associated with the Afghan government in any way.
