Punjab government announces formation of a fact-finding committee to investigate the death of Sadaf Naeem. 

Officials from the departments concerned will be included in the committee, which will submit its report soon. In a meeting at the Civil Secretariat, the Standing Committee of Cabinet on Law and Order (SCCLO) approved the decision.

Moreover, Muhammad Basharat Raja, provincial minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Environment Protection, and Cooperatives, presided from Rawalpindi via video-link. The meeting was attended by the chief secretary of Punjab, the inspector general of police, and officers concerned, among others.
